Weekly Enforcement Report | 25–31 May 2026
As part of the ongoing awareness drive, now in its eleventh consecutive month, Gurugram Traffic Police issued a total of 22,632 challans between 25 and 31 May 2026, imposing fines amounting to ₹1,86,24,400.
Enforcement breakdown:
• Field enforcement: 13,066 challans, including wrong-side driving (1,400), wrong parking (1,344), driver without helmet (931), lane change (917) and drink driving (596).
• Camera enforcement: 9,566 challans, including lane change (3,986), driver without seat belt (2,152) and no entry (1,790).
Highway watch:
A tighter watch is being maintained on NH-48, Dwarka Expressway and Mumbai Expressway, using NHAI cameras and drone technology to act against lane-change and overspeeding violations.
Awareness and community:
• The Suraksha Rath ran awareness programs at 12 locations, reaching over 388 citizens and students
on traffic rules, Dial 112 and helpline 1095.
• The Traffic Mitra initiative continues, with over 188 citizen applications received, 800+ traffic marshals appointed, and 39 Traffic Mitras trained at the TEC (IRTE) centre, Traffic Tower.
