15 auto, taxi and two-wheeler drivers joined a Traffic Awareness Pathshala at Hero Park, held by Gurugram Traffic Police with Hero MotoCorp.

Gurugram Traffic Police returns a lost mobile phone to its owner
On 06 October 2026, while on duty on the stretch from Manesar towards Kherki Daula, Zonal Officer Kherki Daula ASI Rajesh Nehra found a mobile phone lying on the road. He secured the phone so that it could be handed back to its genuine owner.
What happened:
The phone had fallen from the owner's pocket during his journey.
Some time later, the owner called his own number. ASI Rajesh Nehra informed him that
the phone had been found and shared his duty location.
When the owner reached the spot, the phone was returned to him after the necessary
enquiry and identification of the device.
On getting his phone back, the owner expressed his gratitude and appreciated Gurugram Traffic Police for its vigilance, integrity and promptness.

October 2026 to ensure road safety and compliance with traffic rules. A total of 36,518
challans were issued during the week.

Awareness programmes were held at 12 locations, reaching more than 400 citizens and students. Participants were briefed on lane discipline, avoiding wrong side driving,
following speed limits, not using mobile phones while driving, wearing helmets and never driving under the influence, along with Dial 112 and Helpline 1095.
