The Honorable PM in his "Mann Ki Baat" on 29th july 2017 spoken about a sankalp to make "Filth -Quit India". On August 9,2017,he speech on the floor of the Lok Sabha to embrace the "Sankalp se siddhi" movement, and Appealed to all citizens to play their role towards achieving a NEW INDIA by 2022.
To help implement the Honorable PM's Vision "Swachh Sankalp se Swachh Sidhhi" short film competition is being organised as another major step in making Swachhta a Jan Aandolan.
Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation has also desired that villagers/individuals be requested to make 2 to 3 minute films on the theme of Swachhta and show how they can contribute to the Swachh Bharat Mission. The topic of the film is "My contribution towards making India Clean".
Essay Competition on the topic " What will I do for cleanliness in my surroundings?"
Painting competition on the Topic "The Clean India of my dreams"(This competition is only for primary school students).
The entries to the first two categories(Film ans Essay) are invited through online using MyGOV portal and offline by requesting to the participants to submit their entries to the Block of District offices as arranged by Block administrations.
