GHG Khalsa College Knowledge Resource Centre Official gateway of the Bakhtawar Singh Gill Knowledge Resource Centre regarding its notifications Seventeen newspapers of three languages viz.

The library building is a marvel and a masterpiece of architecture. It is a seven storied building directly visible from the Grand Trunk Road. It has an abundant collection of more than 50,000 books and other reading materials related to different disciplines. Besides that, Library is subscribing to 62 Journals and 51 magazines. Punjabi, Hindi and English are available on a regular basis. The Libr

ary has a distinguish section on competitive books, Braille books, CDs and DVDs. There is a Resource Room in the Library having bound volumes of back journals since 1949. Two different reading halls for girl and boy students and a reading section for faculty members are available. The library is providing access to 6,000+ E-Journals and 30, 00,000+ E-books through INFLIBNET’s N-List Programme. The Library is fully computerised and its operations are being done with the help of LIBMAN and OPAC technology. From the session 2015-2016, Best Library User Award is being given to a girl and a boy student separately. The Library is also a member of British Council Library. BOOK BANK:
To cater to the needs of SC/ST and economically weaker students, a Book Bank was established in 1976 with the financial assistance of University Grants Commission (UGC). Sufficient numbers of books are being acquired from time to time in this Book Bank.
