The hornbill was last seen in in November 2020. One major reason for its disappearance was the cutting of trees on the hilltop. Fortunately, a few alert locals raised their voices and were able to stop further tree cutting over the past two years.

We hope that this year, we might witness the majestic hornbill !!!
