đ¨ MAJOR JOINT CRACKDOWN: ILLEGAL PHARMACEUTICALS WORTH OVER âš10 LAKH SEIZED IN GUWAHATI
In a continuous effort to ensure public health safety and eradicate the menace of illegal drug trafficking, the Drugs Control Administration, Assam, in collaboration with the Fatashil Ambari Police, executed a massive joint raid today (21/05/2026).
The operation was conducted at a targeted premises in Ganeshpara, Fatashil Ambari, Guwahati.

đĢ NDPS (Narcotics) Catch:
A major haul of habit-forming, prescription-only contraband (valued at âš78,117/-) was intercepted and immediately handed over to the police for criminal prosecution under the NDPS Act:
*Codeine-based Cough Syrups: 298 Bottles
*Ultacet Tablets (Tramadol Op**te): 49 Strips (735 Tablets)
