The initiative will be led by Dr. Sameer Dhingra as Principal Investigator, reflecting our institute’s growing commitment to Health Technology Assessment (HTA), evidence-based healthcare decision-making, and policy-oriented research.

In line with the growing emphasis on strengthening industry–academia partnerships to drive innovation and translational research in India’s pharmaceutical sector, the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) Hajipur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Boehringer Ingelheim India Pvt. Ltd., marking a significant step towards fostering collaborative research and accelerating healthcare solutions. The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri Manoj Joshi, Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers at Kartavya Bhawan in New Delhi.

NIPER Hajipur celebrated National Panchayat Day with great enthusiasm 🇮🇳. On this occasion, an informative video was screened, giving participants insights into the history and significance of the Panchayati Raj Institution 🎥. The session helped enhance awareness about grassroots governance and the role of Panchayats in strengthening democratic participation 🏛️.

NIPER Hajipur successfully hosted an insightful on-site training session on CAS SciFinder and related tools on 15th April 2026.

The session was conducted by Milind Wagh, Principal Account Manager – Scientific Solutions at ACS International India Pvt. Ltd., who delivered an engaging and in-depth demonstration on the use of CAS SciFinder.

Participants gained valuable insights into modern research and drug discovery tools. The session also highlighted how these platforms streamline research processes, accelerate drug discovery, and support formulation development.

With enthusiastic participation from over 100 students and faculty members, the session proved to be highly informative and impactful.

NIPER Hajipur proudly hosted the Distinguished Expert Seminar on Biological Therapeutics from 23–24 March 2026.

The seminar brought together eminent scientists, policymakers, and thought leaders, including Dr. Yogeswara Rao D (Former Adviser, Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to GoI), Dr. Ramakrishna Sistla (Chief Scientist, Retd., CSIR-IICT), and Prof. Noorudin Khan (University of Hyderabad).

Through distinguished guest interactions, engaging sessions with faculty and scholars, and expert lectures on molecular immunobiology and vaccinology, the event created a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange.

The seminar successfully fostered collaboration, inspired innovation, and further strengthened the Centre of Excellence in Biological Therapeutics—advancing NIPER Hajipur’s vision of global leadership in this field.
