Does Reading affects us ?

Well folks , it does . It affects us in a mojor way subconsciously. It encompasses from reading a theory given by a famous scientist or reading a simple tale from a novel to even a message from your friend. Our brain inculcates corresponding virtues , behaviours and even can alter our personality by changing our perception according to what we read . But all of this is only relevant to those who read books which are fiction and nonfiction fiction based , not that like some theories. For some reading is just pass time but for some it is addiction . Reading a biography of some , a really life changing incident of some , or just some adventure down n' up the mountains , there is plethora of it if you want to jott it down but one thing remains the same that it influences us in ways that we are unknown of . So better choose wisely to what you read of the most Because indulgence in reading is boon for some and a bane for some .

Teacher is said to be next integral part of one's childhood life after his parent. He helps in grooming a child life into a well disciplined life. In every step of our life, we get acquainted with any sort of teacher. Just like in childhood we are under control of teacher who make us read and write. And in older age, we go under the shelter of guru who pacifies our soul. And teaches us how to live remaining day in very good and peaceful way. And relationship between teacher and student is always a healthy and curious. So being student, they should always respect their teacher and not mock them in any sort. Because teacher is who teaches us to live our life.

Wishes a very HAPPY CHILDREN DAY .
“Children are innocent, children are mischief, but children bring a smile to one's face. One of the most treasured possessions on earth; children are loved by one and all.”

On this note Children’s day is celebrated in India on 14th of November, the birthday of Indian First Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, every year. But have you ever imagined why we celebrate this day as Children’s Day? Well, apart from being a good statesman, he was immensely fond of children. He was popular among the children as "Chacha" Nehru . According to his thoughts, he considers children as the future of a nation.
He believes that children have innocent heart and they win the heart of everyone with their innocent smile and angelic smile. He wished that his birthday would be celebrated as the Children’s Day. Hence, after his death, we offer him tribute by celebrating 14th November as Children’s Day.
On this occasion, different types of competitions, Social and Cultural programme like dancing, singing, mimicry, fancy dress, speech etc. are prearranged in schools, institutes, and other educational organizations.Chocolates and Gifts are distributed among the children.Distribute clothes, musical instruments, toys, books, stationery, etc to orphan children.

Children’s day is just not a birth anniversary, it is celebrated to create a strong and energetic youth, which lead the future of India and take them to the new heights of success.

PAHAL
-Share to Educate
Education, one of the vital thing in today's modern society. But in India, is everyone is getting this? No, some don't, some can't afford the necessary accessories.
As a human being, its our duty to help others in their failure. When someone in our country is not getting the proper things to study, we should share our's with them. Its possible to donate anything related to education to them.
Jigyasa is organising the event "PAHAL" for the first time where you all can donate (new or old usable things) whatever you want. All of you have things (like Pen, pencil, scale, eraser, sharpner, stickers, book cover, sketch pen , crayons, notebook, story book, syllabus book, english book, maths book, bags, tiffin box, stationary box, water bottle and anything related to education) at home. Please do bring them after vacation and give it/them to the Jigyasa team. The members of Jigyasa will distribute them with full responsibility among the children who need these things.
(you are also welcome if you want to be a volunteer of Jigyasa to observe the event)

The International Day of Peace unofficially known as World Peace Day. It is dedicated to world peace, and specifically the absence of war and violence, such as might be occasioned by a temporary ceasefire in a combat zone for humanitarian aid access. The day was first celebrated in Tuesday 21 September 1982, and is kept by many nations, political groups, military groups, and people. To inaugurate the day, the United Nations Peace Bell is rung at UN Headquarters (in New York City). The bell is cast from coins donated by children from all continents except Africa, and was a gift from the United Nations Association of Japan, as "a reminder of the human cost of war"; the inscription on its side reads, "Long live absolute world peace". In 2013, the day was dedicated by the Secretary-General of the United Nations to peace education, the key preventive means to reduce war sustainably. This year in 2017, theme is based on the global campaign that promotes respect, safety and dignity for everyone forced to flee their homes in search of a better life. “Peace is not something you wish for; it is something you make, something you do, something you are and something you give away”.

||Shubha Mahalaya||
Mahalaya depicts Maa Durga’s arrival on Earth from her in lanes in Kailash. It is said Devi comes every year for once with her four children to abolish every evil things and turn earth or martya as a sacred place to live. This is a day where every single Bengali would hear the soul stirring melody of B.K. Bhadra where he describes the history of Mahalaya with the broadcast of ‘Mahisasur Mardini’. Mahalaya describes the women power (or nari Shakti) where Devi Durga destroys Demon King Mahisasur. It is said Mahisasur misused his power and strength given by Lord Shiva, Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu which he acquired after 10.000 years of prayer seeing his dedication Lord Shiva blessed him with the life of immortality. But he was killed by a woman but Mahisasur misused his power and thinking woman are weaker in strength he started attacking Heaven and Earth but when the situation was worst Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Brahma created a woman power Maa Durga in order to destroy him. Thus Devi fought with him and defeated him. It is also believed on this day Lord Rama went to seek his wife Devi Sita from the Demon King Ravana by worshipping Devi Durga. Thus Mahalaya can be said as the Annihilation of Demon by Goddess and establishment of women empowerment and strength. It depicts that Devi Durga is inside every woman and should be prayed and worshipped. From this day onwards people around the globe starts celebrating Durga puja for five days.
