The Article "My Great Village" is dedicated to the historical village of Hisar District, Bass. Bass is also called by the name, Bass Banaras due to its historical events related to the British era.
" Bass is a municipal committee town and Sub District (Tehsil) on Bhiwani–Jind Road NH709A in Narnaund as its Vidhan Sab ha constituency and subdivision in Hisar district in the Indian state of Haryana. Earlier Bass was under Sub Division HANSI. Now BASS has a Police Station under Police District HANSI. It is approximately 25 km from Hansi, 30 km from Jind, 39 km from Bhiwani, 59 km from Hisar and 144 km from Delhi. BASS is situated in the geometrical centre of Haryana. If it is planned as CAPITAL OF HARYANA by Govt. of Haryana, it would be most baneficial to all the people of all the regions of Haryana. "

People of Bass live in very peaceful manner. The people are from different castes and communities. Bass has a very proud history. Bass is an ancient village having produced gallantry awarded defence personnel and martyrs. Agriculture is the main profession of residents of Bass. Bass is still waiting for Mega Industrial development. Infrastructural development, Proper Sewage System, Health Facilities are the main concerns of the people of Bass.
There is no doubt that much improvement has been made in this respect in recent times but it is not enough.
The villagers live in the midst of natural surroundings. As we rise early in the morning, we can listen to the sweet songs of birds. We can enjoy the beauty of the rising sun and the sweet breeze of the greenery of fields around, are the various pleasures that abound in the countryside. The villagers live a healthy, peaceful life. They breathe fresh air which promotes their health. They also get pure ghee and milk.
