ਇੱਕ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਟੇਟ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੈੱਲ (SSOC), ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਝਬਾਲ, ਤਰਨਤਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਦੋ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਡਿਊਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।

ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਡਰੋਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਭੇਜੇ ਗਏ ਨਾਜਾਇਜ਼ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੇਪ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।

ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਸਥਿਤ ਸਮੱਗਲਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੀਆਂ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਖੇਪ ਡਰੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਧਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।

ਥਾਣਾ SSOC, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਐਫ.ਆਈ.ਆਰ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਪਿਛਲੀਆਂ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਹੋਰ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

In an intelligence-based operation, the State Special Operation Cell ( ), Amritsar has busted a cross-border smuggling module by apprehending two suspects from Chabal, Tarn Taran and recovered sophisticated illegal weapons from them.

During preliminary investigations, it has been found that both accused have been receiving consignments of illegal weapons sent through drones by their cross-border handlers.

The accused have been in contact with -based smuggler, who has been pushing huge consignments of weapons and drugs into Indian territory through drones and other means.

Recovery: 4 pistols along with 4 magazines

FIR has been registered at PS SSOC, . Further investigations are underway to determine the previous smuggling activities carried out by the accused.

ਨਾਰਕੋਟਿਕਸ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਬਿਊਰੋ (NCB) ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਓਪਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ ਬਿੱਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਐਨ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ.ਐਕਟ ਦੀ ਧਾਰਾ 3(1) Prevention of Illicit Traffic (PITNDPS) ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੌਰਾਨੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਬਿੱਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਬਿੱਲਾ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਐਨ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ.ਐਕਟ ਤਹਿਤ 10 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਜ਼ਮਾਨਤ 'ਤੇ ਸੀ। ਬਿੱਲਾ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਸਰਹੱਦੀ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ।

In a joint operation conducted by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Punjab Police, Balwinder Singh @ Billa from Gurdaspur city area has been detained.

Detention Order u/s 3(1) Prevention of Illicit Traffic in NDPS Act (PITNDPS) is being served on the detenue who will be lodged in Dibrugarh jail during the detention period.

More than ten cases of NDPS Act stand registered against Billa, who was presently on bail. He is involved in trans-border drug smuggling networks with Pakistani smugglers.
