Muhammad Shah bin Firuz, 22nd Sultan of Delhi
Delhi Sultanate (AH 792-795, 1390-1394 AD), Composition. Billon (Copper+Silver), Denomination. 5/6 Tanka, 9.07 gms, 16.30 mm,
The mint's name is not inscribed on the coin.
(Hadrat Delhi mint), AH (7)94, obv. al khalifa abu abd allah khulidat khilafatuhu 794 AH, rev. muhammad shah firuz shah sultani read from the bottom upwards, G&G # D588, extra fine, very scarce.

Nasir ud-Din Muhammad Shah III, also known as Nasir-ud-Din Muhammad Shah bin Firoz, was the 22nd Sultan of the Delhi Sultanate, ruling from 1390 to 1394. He was the son of Sultan Firuz Shah Tughlaq and came to power following his father's death. His reign was marked by instability and challenges to his authority, both from internal factions and external threats. When Sultan Abu Bakr Shah Tughluq became ruler of the Tughlaq dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate, Muhammad Shah as his uncle was opposed to him, and struggled against Abu Bakr over the control of the throne. In August 1390, he launched an attack on Delhi and battled Abu Bakr Khan for the throne of Delhi. Eventually Abu Bakr was defeated, and Muhammad Shah succeeded him as king, reigning from 1390 to 1394. After Abu Bakr's defeat, Muhammad Shah imprisoned him in the fort of Meerut where he died soon after. Muhammad Shah ruled the Delhi Sultanate for four years before his death on 20 January 1394.

क़ुतुब मीनार भारत के दिल्ली शहर में स्थित एक ऐतिहासिक मीनार है। यह मीनार विश्व धरोहर स्थल के रूप में भी सूचीबद्ध है और भारतीय इस्लामी वास्तुकला का एक अद्वितीय उदाहरण है। इसकी स्थापना 12वीं सदी में कुतुबुद्दीन ऐबक ने की थी, जिन्होंने मीनार की आधारशिला रखी।

**क़ुतुब मीनार का निर्माण:**

1. **कुतुबुद्दीन ऐबक**: 1192 में, कुतुबुद्दीन ऐबक ने इस मीनार की आधारशिला रखी। हालाँकि उन्होंने केवल इसकी पहली मंजिल का निर्माण कराया था।
2. **इल्तुतमिश**: ऐबक के उत्तराधिकारी इल्तुतमिश ने इस मीनार की तीन और मंजिलों का निर्माण कराया।
3. **फिरोज शाह तुगलक**: 14वीं सदी में, फिरोज शाह तुगलक ने मीनार की पाँचवीं और अंतिम मंजिल का निर्माण कराया।

**वास्तुकला और डिजाइन:**

क़ुतुब मीनार लाल बलुआ पत्थर से बनी है और इसकी ऊंचाई लगभग 73 मीटर है। मीनार में कुल पांच मंजिलें हैं, जिनमें प्रत्येक मंजिल पर बाल्कनी है। मीनार की बाहरी दीवारों पर अरबी शिलालेख हैं, जो इसके निर्माण की कहानी बताते हैं। इसमें कुरान की आयतें भी उकेरी गई हैं।

**क़ुतुब परिसर:**

क़ुतुब मीनार के आसपास का क्षेत्र क़ुतुब परिसर के रूप में जाना जाता है, जिसमें कई महत्वपूर्ण संरचनाएँ हैं, जैसे कि:

1. **कुव्वत-उल-इस्लाम मस्जिद**: यह दिल्ली की सबसे पुरानी मस्जिद है, जिसका निर्माण कुतुबुद्दीन ऐबक ने कराया था।
2. **अलाई दरवाजा**: अलाउद्दीन खिलजी द्वारा निर्मित एक प्रमुख द्वार है।
3. **आयरन पिलर**: यह लौह स्तंभ विशेष रूप से अपने धातु विज्ञान के लिए प्रसिद्ध है, क्योंकि इसमें जंग नहीं लगती।

**महत्व:**

क़ुतुब मीनार न केवल वास्तुकला का अद्भुत नमूना है, बल्कि यह भारतीय इतिहास के महत्वपूर्ण दौर का प्रतीक भी है। यह दिल्ली सल्तनत के प्रभुत्व और शक्ति का प्रतीक है और आज भी पर्यटकों के लिए एक प्रमुख आकर्षण स्थल है।

Madura Sultanate, Ala-ud-din Udauji Shah (AH 740/1339 AD), Copper Paisa(Paika),Obv: ala ud dunya wa'l din, Rev: udauji shah al-sultan, 4.6g, 15.00mm, about very fine, Scarce.

After Jalaluddin's murder, Ala-ud-Din Udauji Shah took power in 1340 CE. He was succeeded by his son in law Qutb-ud-Din Firuz Shah, who in turn was assassinated within forty days of taking power. Qutbuddin's killer Ghiyas-ud-din Dhamagani took over as Sultan in 1340.

Ma'bar Sultanate, unofficially known as the Madurai Sultanate, was a short lived kingdom based in the city of Madurai in Tamil Nadu, India. The sultanate was proclaimed in 1335 in Madurai led by the Jalaluddin Ahsan Khan declared his independence from the Delhi Sultanate. Ahsan Khan and his descendants ruled Madurai and surrounding territories until 1378 when the last sultan, Ala-ud-Din Sikandar Shah fell in battle against the forces of the Vijayanagara Kingdom. During this short span of 43 years, the Sultanate had 8 different rulers.
