Proud to mark the successful launch of the 5th Hybrid-Electric Catamaran in a series of six 50-passenger hybrid-electric catamarans being built for the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI).

The vessel was launched by Smt. Nitha K., Assistant General Manager, Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited, in the presence of the CEO-Hooghly CSL, Director-IWAI(Kolkata), IRS Surveyors, Representatives of IWAI, senior officals and employees of Hooghly CSL.

This milestone is a testament to the dedication, teamwork and technical capabilities of the entire HCSL team and our project partners.

With five vessels successfully launched and one more to go, we continue our journey towards cleaner, greener and more sustainable inland water transportation in India.

Navigating complex engineering challenges with absolute precision.

🚧55th National Safety Week Celebration at Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited 🚧

The 55th National Safety Week (4th – 10th March 2026) was observed at Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited with the theme “Engage, Educate & Empower People to Enhance Safety.”

The programme was conducted in the presence of:
