Finally, a Dream Come True!
I am thrilled to share a significant milestone in my academic journey—completing the IIMK MDP (Management Development Programme) in General Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode!
Heartfelt thanks to Professor Venkataraman S and Professor Arqum Mateen for designing this impactful program tailored to nurture leadership among management professionals. My sincere gratitude to all the esteemed professors—Prof. Rudra Sensarma, Prof. Soumya Roy, Prof. Prantika Ray, Prof. Prasad M, Prof. M. GEETHA, Prof. Dr. Vijay Kuriakose , Prof. Rachappa Shette, Prof. Ashutosh Sarkar, Prof. Nycil George, Prof. Dr. Kamal Kishore Sharma, Prof. Jijo Lukose P.J. , Prof. Anupam Das, Dr. John Chiramel, and Prof. Lionel Ar**ha —for their invaluable guidance and support throughout this transformative year. A big shoutout to my incredible batchmates, whose diverse expertise and experiences across industries made the journey even more enriching. Congratulations to all my batchmates on achieving this milestone!
The training program has been a transformative experience, equipping me with a robust foundation in general management and leadership. Now, with academic class room sessions behind, me would be applying them in reality on the following..
1. Strategic Thinking and Planning: The course has enhanced my design thinking capabilities to apply upon ability to design and strategic initiatives for Jagathi Foundation, ensuring sustainable growth and impact.
2. Team and Stakeholder Management: key levers on leadership styles and stakeholder engagement, will help me foster a collaborative culture within the NGO and with our partners.
3. Ethical Decision-Making: The critical emphasis on ethics and governance has prepared me to handle challenges with integrity and fairness, ensuring that our programs/project actions align with our mission.
4. Financial Acumen: Strengthened my understanding of budgeting, resource allocation, and financial sustainability, audit adherence, critical for managing NGO operations efficiently.
5. Innovation and Problem-Solving: Tools and frameworks learned during the program will enable me to address complex societal issues with creative and practical and strategic solutions.
6. Scaling and Outreach: The program has provided insights into scaling operations, which will help understand the right expansion of Jagathi Foundation’s initiatives to reach effective beneficiaries.
This is not just an academic achievement but a stepping stone toward realizing my ”Social Passionate Vision of empowering the underprivileged and ensuring sustainable social impact" ✊.
