Sensitization Programme for Investigators & Co-Investigators
NRIUMSD, Hyderabad, participated in the Sensitization Programme for Investigators and Co-Investigators of the clinical study titled “Diagnostic Accuracy of the Non-Invasive Mizāj Assessment Tool for Determining Mizāj Insānī (Human Temperament): A Multi-centre Observational Clinical Study,” held on 20.08.2026 at CCRUM Headquarters, New Delhi, in hybrid mode, under the chairmanship of Dr. N. Zaheer Ahmed, Director General, CCRUM.
Dr. Younis Iftikhar Munshi, Deputy Director General, CCRUM, delivered the welcome address and highlighted the significance of the sensitization programme in ensuring uniformity and consistency in the implementation of the multicentre study.
Dr. N. Zaheer Ahmed, Director General, CCRUM, in his introductory remarks, highlighted the objectives of the programme, including uniformity in study implementation, adherence to the approved protocol, standardisation of assessment procedures, and effective coordination among participating centres. He also reaffirmed CCRUM’s commitment to promoting evidence-based Unani medicine through quality scientific research and collaborative efforts.
Representing NRIUMSD, Prof. Qamar Uddin attended the programme virtually and delivered a presentation on “Terms of Reference for Interpretation and Question-wise Clarification of the Questionnaire for Assessment of Mizāj Insānī (Human Temperament).”
The programme witnessed online participation of approximately 65 participants representing 14 institutions involved in this significant clinical study, comprising 8 peripheral institutes under CCRUM and 6 academic Unani institutions. A total of 56 Investigators and Co-Investigators will undertake the study, establishing a strong collaborative network of researchers and academicians across the country.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Farah Ahmad, Research Officer (Unani), CCRUM, New Delhi.
