“Culture is in the heart” — yes, but culture is also reflected in the way we respect and represent our traditions. ❤️ మనం ఇతర దేశాల fashion trends‌ని ఇష్టంగా తీసుకుని follow అవుతున్నప్పుడు, మన సొంత traditional festivals వచ్చినప్పుడు మాత్రం వాటి traditional essence‌ని కూడా trend పేరుతో వదిలేయడం ఎందుకు?

Rakshabandhan లాంటి మన పండుగలకు ఒక ప్రత్యేకమైన cultural significance ఉంది. ఇతర దేశాల్లో ఈ పండుగ లేకపోవచ్చు, కాబట్టి వాళ్లకు దాని customs, traditional dressing గురించి తెలియకపోవచ్చు. కానీ మన పండుగ మనది కాబట్టి, ఆ రోజున మన సంప్రదాయానికి తగ్గట్టు dress చేసుకుని ఆ పండుగను represent చేయడం ఇంకా అందంగా, meaningful‌గా ఉంటుంది.

ఎవరూ మహిళలు ప్రతిరోజూ ఏం వేసుకోవాలో నిర్ణయించమని చెప్పడం లేదు. కానీ ఒక traditional festivalకి occasionకి, cultureకి తగ్గట్టు dress చేసుకోవడం కూడా మన సంప్రదాయాన్ని గౌరవించడంలో భాగమే. Freedom of choice is important, but so is respecting the cultural context of the occasion.

Fashion can change with time, but our traditions shouldn’t have to disappear for fashion to evolve. Tradition first, fashion later. 🙏🏻❤️
