At Ambee, we are building a network of high quality hospital and private owned ambulances. When someone needs an ambulance, our aim is to send them the nearest, appropriate one suitable for their need, without them having to contact several providers one after another. We use mobile and location-based technologies to locate and track availability of ambulances on our network. This allows us to ser
ve a request in shorter time than it takes currently. Getting an ambulance today in any city in India is a huge hassle. Between hospitals and privately owned ambulances there's a surplus of them. But since they are fragmented with different contact numbers, someone in need has to call more than one of these providers. This leads to a delay of 40-60 minutes before an ambulance arrives. Ironically, a cab arrives in less than 10 minutes. This doesn't have to be this way! We aim to not only solve this problem but set new standards of service by upgrading the network and up skilling the people involved in the chain.
