HSC, Hyderabad inaugurated the 4th Craft Demonstration and Awareness Programme (CDAP) at ZPHS, Medwin Village, Kadthal Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, Telangana, on 11.08.2026.
The programme was conducted in the presence of Sh. Raghu, Principal; Smt. Vasantha, Craft Teacher; and the staff of ZPHS, Medwin Village, along with Smt. M. Suvarchala, Assistant Director (Handicrafts), and Sh. Chanchal Pal, Handicrafts Promotion Officer, HSC, Hyderabad.
As part of the programme, four artisans demonstrated their traditional crafts namely, Hand Block Printing, Stone-studded Bangles, Banjara Embroidery, Tribal Jewellery
The students participated in the craft demonstration programme with great enthusiasm and keen interest. The Principal appreciated the CDAP initiative and the Handicrafts Department for organising such programmes, which provide students with an opportunity to learn about traditional Indian handicrafts and the skills of artisans.
As part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, national flags were distributed to the students to promote the spirit of patriotism. In addition, 20 saplings were planted in the school premises as part of the environmental awareness and plantation activity.
