Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu launched 17 skill development centres across the state from here electronically. The centres, being set up by the Skill Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh at various educational institutions, are aimed at imparting training and honing the skills of youth.

AP govt sets up Skill Development Corporation.
"Skills and knowledge are the driving forces of the economic growth and social development of any country. After bifurcation, the residuary state of Andhra Pradesh had to forfeit revenues, assets, several institutions and locational advantages," Principal Secretary to government (Higher Education) Nilam Sawhney said in an order issued constituting the APSSDC today.
