The National People’s Women Front (NPWF), Manipur warmly welcomes three accomplished women who have joined our organisation, bringing with them valuable experience, commitment and a strong spirit of service to society.

Social worker from Khurai A/C, Imphal East, dedicated to community service and social empowerment.

NPWF Manipur State Office Bearers’ Meeting

Today, the National People’s Women Front (NPWF), Manipur held a State Office Bearers’ Meeting at the NPP Office, with a focus on strengthening our organisation and planning upcoming women-centric programmes across the state.

The meeting discussed the proposed NPWF Imphal East Women Interaction Programme, scheduled to be conducted this month, with the objective of directly engaging with women, understanding their concerns, encouraging their participation, and strengthening women’s leadership at the grassroots level.

The meeting also deliberated on upcoming NPWF activities to be organised across every district of Manipur, including women’s interaction programmes, organisational expansion, mobilisation, and other community-oriented initiatives.

Together, we continue our efforts to build a strong, inclusive and people-centric NPWF across Manipur.

Today, the National People’s Women Front (NPWF), Manipur had the privilege of interacting with Arjuna Awardee Smt. L. Sarita Devi during our visit to the Sarita Devi Boxing Academy, Mayang Imphal.

The meeting was an inspiring and meaningful exchange of ideas. We discussed the current challenges faced by the people of Manipur due to the ongoing conflict and its impact on young athletes and the sporting community. We also shared our vision for strengthening sports infrastructure, promoting athlete development, and establishing quality sports schools across Manipur to nurture future champions.

Our discussion focused on creating better opportunities for aspiring sportspersons so they can compete and excel at both the national and international levels. We firmly believe that sports have the power to unite communities, inspire youth, and build a stronger future for Manipur.

The visit was led by NPWF Manipur State President Smt.Nonibala Memicha Sapam and General Secretary (Organisation) SmtNiva Thouna.reaffirming NPWF’s commitment to empowering women, supporting youth, and promoting the holistic development of sports in the state.
