BRIC-IBSD, Imphal successfully concluded a two-day training program "Advanced Hands-on Training in Fluorescence and Confocal Microscopy: From Fundamentals to High-Resolution Imaging," on 7th–8th July, 2026.

The programme provided researchers across the Institute's laboratories with comprehensive hands-on exposure to the Nikon Fluorescence, Inverted, Stereozoom, and A1R Confocal microscopy systems, covering foundational principles through advanced imaging applications.

The one-month-long GSBTM BRIDGE Summer Internship Program 2026 was successfully completed, providing participants with valuable exposure to scientific research, innovation, and skill development.

During their internship, the interns received hands-on training in phytopharmaceuticals, plant tissue culture, animal cell culture, plant genomics, and microbiological techniques, gaining exposure to HPLC, HPTLC, GC-MS, PCR, and DNA sequencing, interactive sessions, and project-based learning under the guidance of experienced mentors.
