What if you had the chance to not only celebrate your special occasion with your loved ones but extend the joy of your celebrations to those who may never have a chance to celebrate their own.
That was the thought behind a beautiful gesture by Mr. Anshul Agrawal and Mrs. Varsha Agarwal. Instead of the customary exchange of gifts and return gifts on their daughter’s Birthday, they invited their friends to make voluntary contributions towards a cause that would help children from de-notified tribes, get the kitchen in their hostel facility, they call home, repaired, followed by a supply of meals for the quarter.
For these children, the hostel is much more than a place to stay. It is a safe space that offers education, nourishment, emotional support and mentorship, giving them the opportunity to break free from generations of poverty, exclusion, exploitation and neglect.
Placing their trust in LET IT COUNT to decide where to channel these funds and effectively monitor its use was exciting for the team to see how even small acts of generosity can leave the deepest impact.
We are sincerely grateful to such individuals to think beyond the norm and extend what they were lucky to have to others who aren’t. Applause to - opportunity, hope and a meaningful change made in someone’s life.
We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone.
