VOA – Voice of Art | Creativity Beyond the Canvas

Our Dalians had an enriching experience at "VOA – Voice of Art", transforming ideas into meaningful artworks through creativity, research, and mentorship.

Representing Daly College, Ojasvi Gupta, Mahek Kapopara, Naisha Baheti and Navya Nagar showcased their work at Bikaner House, New Delhi, engaging with artists, curators, and experts from across the country.

We congratulate our young artists and thank Dr. Gunmeet Bindra, Principal, for her unwavering encouragement, and Mrs. Priyanka Dave for her dedicated guidance and support throughout this memorable journey.

Daly College recently hosted the AFS Global Up GCC Workshop, an inspiring program dedicated to integrating global competence and intercultural understanding into the classroom curriculum. Led by Mrs. Sarita Badwar of AFS India, this workshop gave our teachers the tools to champion inclusive education and foster a truly global outlook in our students.

Daly College formally inducted its Prefectorial Body, School Captains, House Captains and Prefects on 11 July 2026, celebrating leadership through the theme "Becoming."

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Gunmeet Bindra, Principal, Daly College, emphasized that true leadership is defined by character, authenticity and the courage to include rather than exclude.

She thanked parents for instilling these values and the faculty for preparing students for life beyond examinations. Reflecting on today's volatile world, she reminded the newly invested leaders that peace begins with respect, self-discipline, humility, moral courage and a commitment to uphold Daly College's enduring legacy.

The ceremony reached its emotional high as the newly invested apex leadership team took their oaths, followed by a moving rendition of You Raise Me Up, honouring the parents, teachers and mentors who shaped these young leaders.

Leading Daly College in the academic year ahead are Head Boy Devansh Inani, Head Girl Deveshwari Singh, Deputy Head Boy Nirvaan Lulla, and Deputy Head Girl Shreya Dafria, who now carry forward the school's proud legacy.

Because Becoming is not the moment a badge is pinned—it is the promise that begins the moment it is worn.

Daly College, Indore, successfully hosted the HH Maharaj Tukoji Rao Sr Trophy, comprising the 2nd Indore District Shooting Championship from 24–30 June 2026.

The championship saw 675 shooters from 32 shooting clubs and 16 schools, with Daly College fielding 63 shooters. Delivering an exceptional performance, the Daly College team won 340 medals—127 Gold, 140 Silver, and 73 Bronze—to emerge as the Overall Champion and lift the prestigious trophy.

Among the top performers were Atharva Singh Kanwar (29 medals), Vidhi (17), Devaditya Sinh Jadeja (16), Shivam Kapasiya (15), and Vishwaraj Singh Rathore (15), whose outstanding performances played a pivotal role in the team's success.

The championship concluded on a high note, celebrating precision, perseverance and sporting excellence. Daly College congratulates all the medal winners and expresses gratitude to the Principal, Vice Principal, organisers, officials, coaches, parents and participants for making the event a grand success.
