The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) condemns the Brutal Assault of an eight year old girl by a teacher and his wife, which was published in the daily newspapers on 27th May ‘2021.



While appreciating the Yingkiong Police for arresting the Co-Accused at Yingkiong, the APSCW request the concerned authorities to arrest the Prime Accused at the earliest. Further, book both the alleged accused under POCSO Act 2012.



The Commission request all the people of each society to cooperate and support the Police in the investigation, so that no child or women suffers in the future and justice can be delivered to the victims and their families.

The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) condemns the Cyber Bullying of Nurses in Social Media (Facebook) as reported in daily newspaper of the State on 25th May ‘2021.



The Commission has taken Suo-Moto Cognizance of the case and sought status report of the instant case from the Superintendent of Police, Capital Complex.



The APSCW has further stated that action must be taken against Cyber Bullying of nurses in social media who are working 24*7 during this pandemic to save precious human lives.



The APSCW has asked the general public to refrain from demoralising the Nurses and frontline health workers who are working during such difficult times.

The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW), Itanagar condemns the heinous crime by a man at Yapgo Village, Pasighat, East Siang District. Where the alleged accused inflicted multiple grievous injuries with a Dao on a woman with whom he was living with. The APSCW has taken Suo-Moto Cognizance of the case and requested the Superintendent of Police, Pasighat, East Siang District to nab the absconding alleged accused at the earliest.

The APSCW request the General Public to cooperate with the police for fair and unbiased investigation so that justice may be delivered to the victim and her family.

Further, it is also request to the society not to take Law into their own hands for smooth and fair investigation of the case.
