Arunachal Pradesh Honoured for Digital Excellence

The Government of Arunachal Pradesh has been recognised among the top three State Government partners at the 30th Foundation Day of NICSI, a proud moment in the ICT-driven governance sector.

Hon’ble MoS for Electronics & IT, Shri Jatin Prasada, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Representing the State, Smt. Neelam Yapin Tana, Director, IT&C Department, received the memento on behalf of Arunachal Pradesh.

This award highlights the State’s significant strides in ICT infrastructure, application solutions, consultancy, capacity building, procurement, and commissioning. Kudos to the Department of IT&C for steering Arunachal Pradesh towards greater digital excellence.

Today, a meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Secretary IT & C, Shri Anirudh S. Singh at the AP Civil Secretariat Itanagar. The primary agenda of the meeting was to review the draft IT/ITeS Policy-2024 in preparation for its submission to the government as part of 100 days action plan. The meeting attendees included Secretary APPSC, Smti. Parul Gaur Mittal, Director IT&C, Smti. Neelam Yapin Tana, and the Officers of the Department of IT&C.

Today, a significant vc meeting took place at the CS Conference Hall, AP Civil Secretariat, Itanagar, chaired by Special Secretary IT&C, Smti. Parul Gaur Mittal. Attendees included Addln PCCF GoAP, Director DoT, all Deputy Commissioners, DFOs, DIOs, and District IT Officers.
The agenda was on discussing unresolved issues related to the implementation of 4G telecom towers in Arunachal Pradesh by Airtel and BSNL.
