Beawar – Pali – Pindwara road in Rajasthan is the longest four lane road project developed under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model in the National Highways sector. The road project developed by L&T IDPL at a cost of Rs 2472 crore commenced commercial operations (tolling) on June 11, 2015. L&T BPP Tollway Limited (L&T BPPTL) which is a wholly owned subsidiary of L&T IDPL signed a Concessio
n Agreement with NHAI in June 2011 for the ex*****on of the project on Design, Build, Finance, Operate & Transfer (DBFOT) basis. As per the Concession Agreement, L&T BPPTL is entitled to collect toll revenue from the road users for a period of 23 years till December 2034. Beawar Pali Pindwara road Project (244.12 km) located in the State of Rajasthan, which is part of the Kandla-Delhi high density freight corridor, is the first Mega Project proposed by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and till date is the only one which has seen construction completion. The construction of this prestigious project was executed by L&T Construction on EPC basis with a commendable safety record of over 27 million safe man hours. The project corridor passes through the picturesque rolling Aravali range of hills and comprises of 9 bypasses (length aggregating to about 58 km of new four lane construction), one tunnel in Sirohi area, 6 flyovers, 2 ROBs, 14 Major bridges, 57 minor bridges and four toll plazas. This project also has the distinction of being the longest project in the National Highways sector which has been opened to commercial operations with a continuous four lane facility from the beginning of the project till the end of the project corridor, thereby giving a superior world class driving comfort for the road users without any diversion/blockage. The road predominantly caters to the heavy commercial vehicle segment of users plying between Kandla Port and the land locked regions of North India.
