Meeting regarding Law and Order with the Durga Puja Committees under Jagiroad Co-District was held at Office of the Co-District Commissioner, Jagiroad on 8th September, 2025. The meeting was chaired by Sri Hriday Das, ACS, Co-District Commissioner, Jagiroad. The CDSP Jagiroad was also present along with Officer In-Charge of Jagiroad, Mayang and Dharamtul PS. The Committees were represented by their President / Secretary or other nominated members. Several precautions and safety measures were discussed and are in the verge of implementation. The administration is highly committed towards public security and safety without compromising the aspirations of the people.

The Bhumi Pujan of the New Office of the Co-District Commissioner, Jagiroad for the newly created Jagiroad Co-District situated at Jagi-Bhakatgaon is being performed in the auspicious presence of the Honourable Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and other dignitaries . The new office will be built at the existing Circle Office Campus of the Mayang Revenue Circle. It is indeed a milestone development in the context of Jagiroad Co-District.
