​हाम्रो स्थानीय पूर्वाधारको वास्तविक अवस्था आज सबैको सामुन्ने छर्लङ्ग भएको छ। थोरै समयको वर्षा मात्रै पनि हाम्रो आवतजावतको सम्पर्क चुँडाउन पर्याप्त बन्यो। हामी अहिले जोगिखोलामा उभिएका छौँ, जहाँ हाम्रो मुख्य लाइफलाइन सडक पूर्ण रूपमा बगाएको छ। यहाँ कुनै पक्की पुल नभएकाले, यात्रीहरू पूर्ण रूपमा सुकेको नदीको बगर पार गरेर आवतजावत गर्न बाध्य थिए। तर आज, नदीमा पानीको बहाव बढेको छ र यातायात पूर्ण रूपमा ठप्प भएको छ।
​यो समस्या केवल एउटा ठाउँको मात्र होइन। यस्तै गम्भीर जोखिमको सामना तोरिबारी गाउँ (जयगाउँ ग्राम पञ्चायत, कालचिनी ब्लक) का गोबाजोटी खोला र खार्कखोला क्षेत्रका बासिन्दाहरूले पनि गरिरहेका छन्।
​सम्बन्धित अधिकारीहरूसँग हाम्रो माग स्पष्ट र अत्यन्तै जरुरी छ:
​1️⃣ यी नदीका च्यानलहरूमा थुप्रिएको बालुवा र गेग्रानको तुरुन्तै र व्यवस्थित रूपमा सफाइ (Desiltation) गरियोस्।
2️⃣ हाम्रो बाटो थुनेर बसेका भग्नावशेष, ढुङ्गा र लेदोलाई पन्छाएर सुरक्षित ठाउँमा व्यवस्थापन गरियोस्।
3️⃣ गाउँबासीहरूलाई जुनसुकै मौसममा पनि सुरक्षित आवतजावतको ग्यारेन्टी गर्न यहाँ स्थायी पक्की पुलहरूको निर्माण गरियोस्।

Together with the local community and administration, we are turning the vision of a safe, prosperous, and Viksit Toribari into reality!

Following our urgent appeal and the critical rainfall situation, Hon'ble MLA Shri Bishal Lama alongside high-ranking Irrigation Department Officials immediately visited the affected river sites today.
We have received official confirmation that emergency protection and desiltation work will commence TOMORROW. The approved government maintenance list clearly includes our heavily demanded stretches:
Kharkhola protection work (450m)
Gaburjyoti/Gobajoti protection work (450m)
Jogikhola protection work (650m)
A massive thank you to the administration and our MLA for the lightning-fast response to safeguard our villages, PMGSY road, and Manglabari Bazaar. We will monitor the ground ex*****on closely!

🚨 CRITICAL UPDATE: Toribari Lifeline Cut Off – Urgent Intervention Needed! 🌊⚠️
Last night's relentless rainfall has escalated to a disaster point. The main PMGSY Road has completely flushed away, entirely cutting off the lifeline connecting our villages to Manglabari Bazaar and Jaigaon.
The situation is on a hair-trigger: if the Jogikhola river turns left and changes its course, the entire Toribari Village on both banks, along with Manglabari and Gurastoll, will face devastating flooding.
We need immediate, emergency on-the-ground action before entire residential areas are submerged!
