There is one interesting story about Netaji's Nationalism, Integrity and love for the motherland.

Once Netaji's was asked by the reporters in Germany about his favorite Water and River.He immediately answered as water of the The Nile river. Everyone present there got confused and shocked. All of them expecting him to reply it as Our very own sacred river The Ganga.

When he was asked for the reason he told them that they were questioning about the water so he answered Nile but for us Indians water of Ganga is not just mere a water but Amrita(nectar).There is no comparison between The Nile and the Ganga.

This incident really showcase true nationalistic character of Netaji and his affection for mother India and it's culture.
