Please be informed that in terms of the Special Relief Ration Scheme all Relief Category Migrants are entitled to free ration of 11Kg per person and 1Kg Sugar per family per month. Please avail the services of next round of outreach camps scheduled from . All facilitation /guidance will be provided free of any cost/application fee to the potential beneficiaries to fill online applications for Old Age Pension, Widow Pension, Disability Pension and Marriage Assistance etc. Please go through the checklist of documents carefully and come to the outreach with a copy of these documents. These are voices of those sections of the community who after 35 years have started getting benefits of welfare schemes due to the integration of migrant ration cards into NFSA database. Earlier they could not avail these benefits due to their ration cards being non-digitised and not integrated with national database. Only insecure people need to speak badly about others
Listen to the genuine reactions of beneficiaries of social sector schemes. For more than three decades migrants stood deprived of the benefits of social sector/welfare schemes, as migrant ration cards were non-digitized and not integrated in the national database. Kashmiri /Jammu Migrants have become eligible for these social sector/welfare schemes after integration of migrant ration cards on NFSA database. The benefits of social sector/welfare schemes are in addition to monthly cash and ration assistance, without any effect on migrant status. Some unscrupulous persons frustrated with the reforms brought about in the system try to mislead people by spreading false and baseless rumours about the loss of migrant status and relief benefits after integration of ration cards into national database. These are concocted lies spread by these persons with evil intentions.
Please submit the applications in outreach camps or at jansugam.jk.gov.in/services.
For any facilitation/clarification on any issue please avail the services of daily public hearing(12 noon to 1PM daily) from your nearest migrant zone or head office. All subordinate offices at Jammu, Udhampur and Srinagar are connected with head office during this time slot and all officers/ officials are available. Please note all services offered by the Relief Organization are free of any cost /fee.
