*Director Ayush, J&K Visits All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi*
Dr. Ajay Kumar Tikoo, Director Ayush, J&K, visited the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi, where *he called upon the Director, AIIA Professor (Vd.) Pradeep Kumar Prajapati*.He was warmly received by the Director, AIIA, and the two held a cordial and meaningful interaction on the functioning and activities of the premier Ayurveda institute.
During the interaction, Dr. Ajay Kumar Tikoo had a detailed discussion with the Director, AIIA, regarding the state-of-the-art facilities available at the Institute, its specialized departments, academic programmes and various courses offered in Ayurveda. The discussion also covered the Institute’s clinical services, research initiatives and its significant contribution towards advancing Ayurveda education, healthcare and research.
The Director, AIIA, thereafter facilitated Dr. Ajay Kumar Tikoo’s visit to various faculties, specialized departments and research laboratories of the Institute. Dr. Tikoo took keen interest in the advanced infrastructure, clinical facilities, academic activities and research work being undertaken across different departments.
The visit provided a valuable platform for exchange of knowledge and experiences and further strengthened institutional interaction in the areas of Ayurveda education, research, clinical services and capacity building.
