سدھپور بالا، شوپیان | دی ڈیلی ٹائمز

آج ایک بار پھر سدھپور بالا، شوپیان میں موسلا دھار بارش نے کئی سیب کے باغات کو اپنی لپیٹ میں لے لیا۔ مسلسل بارش کے باعث متعدد باغات میں پانی جمع ہوگیا جس سے باغات کو نقصان پہنچا اور مقامی باغبانوں میں فصل کے ممکنہ نقصان کے حوالے سے شدید تشویش پائی جا رہی ہے۔

مقامی لوگوں کا کہنا ہے کہ اگر بارش کا یہ سلسلہ اسی طرح جاری رہا تو باغبانی کے شعبے کو مزید نقصان پہنچ سکتا ہے، جس سے سیب کی پیداوار اور باغبانوں کے روزگار پر منفی اثرات مرتب ہوں گے۔

*J&K POLICE IN SHOPIAN SEIZED 04 TRACTORS & 01 TIPPER; 3FIRs REGISTERED*

August 05: Continuing its sustained crackdown on illegal mining, Shopian Police seized four tractors and one tipper involved in the unauthorized extraction and transportation of minerals from different areas of the district.

During routine patrolling a police party from Police Post Saidpora intercepted and seized three tractors involved in the illegal extraction and transportation of minerals without valid royalty documents. In this regard, FIR No. 73/2026 under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station Heerpora and investigation has been set into motion.

In a similar action Police party from Police Station Keller intercepted and seized one tractor engaged in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals without mandatory permission. In this regard FIR No.81/2026 under relevant provisions of law has been registered in Police Station Keller and further investigation has been initiated.

In another similar action Police party from Police Post Hermain seized one tipper found indulging in illegal mining activities without mandatory permission. In this regard FIR No. 149/2026 under relevant provisions of law has been registered in Police Station Shopian and investigation has been initiated.

Shopian Police reiterates its firm commitment to protecting the district’s natural resources and ensuring strict legal action against those involved in illegal mining. The general public is urged to cooperate by reporting any such unlawful activities. The identity of informants shall be kept strictly confidential.
