National Conference in full bloom in Bhaderwah, many joins hands with Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal at Bhoda village of Thubba Panchayat

Bhaderwah || 08-05-2022:--- In a series of meeting with the people of Bhaderwah Senior NC leader Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal is visiting each and every Village of Bhaderwah and is listening the grievances of people at grassroot level. People are asking him to visit their areas and see the condition at grassroot level. Today he visited the far flung area of Bhaderwah which is known as Bhodda Village of Thubba Panchayat. Mehboob Iqbal interacted with the people and listened to their grievances.
Many people also joined hands with him and said that He is always helpful and we know him from the time when he was in service and he was very kind and helpful at that time and still he is working for the downtrodden people.

70 youth join militant ranks in seven months, most from south Kashmir districts: Official

Jammu Seventy young men have joined militancy in the past seven months this year with most of the recruits from three districts in south Kashmir, according to a senior official.
The new recruits mostly belong to Pulwama, Shopian and Kulgam districts in south Kashmir, which has become the hub of tech-savvy militants.
“As many as 70 Kashmiri youths joined militancy in the Valley in seven months period this year,” the senior security officer told PTI quoting official statistics.
The officer claimed 88 Kashmiri youths joined militancy in 2016.
Since 2014, there has been a constant rise in the number of people joining militancy.
As many as 66 youths joined militancy in Kashmir in 2015 and 53 in 2014, according to data compiled by security agencies.
In 2010, 54 youths joined militancy and in 2011, the number came down to 23. It further dipped to 21 in 2012 and 16 in 2013, it said.
The Pulwama-Shopian-Kulgam region has become a hotbed of homegrown terrorists, the officials said.

Zulfkar for strict adherence to fixed timelines for project completion
Reviews pace of ongoing development works in Darhal
JAMMU, AUGUST 12: Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Information Choudhary Zulfkar Ali today directed the officers of PWD (R&B) to expedite construction of Koteranka-Khawas road and Administrative Block of Medical College at Rajouri.
The Minister issued these instructions while addressing a meeting of PWD (R&B) officers convened to review the pace of development works being executed by the department in Darhal.
In the meeting, the Minister said the department should adopt serious and dedicated approach towards these two prestigious projects and complete them within the fixed timeline. He directed for fixing a schedule for concerned AEE to visit the Koteranka-Khawas road site and submit real-time update to his office daily.
He further directed for development of wayside amenities on the road including beautification of road sides, developing green strip and sitting spaces.
The Minister directed the officers to expedite the works on roads including Budhal to Shopian, Kewal Morh to Targain, Morari Morh to Bagyal Kot, Rajouri to Darhal, Choudhary Narm to Dodaj and Thuddi to Kot Dhara. He asked them to construct the missing link on Dallhori to Kanthol, Bai to Nambal, Kanthol to Khairian and Gadyog to Duggal Gala roads, besides constructing approach road to Udhyan bridge and opening blockage of Tredu Khwas road.
The Minister directed the Chief Engineer, PWD (R&B) to conduct an inspection visit of the various development projects in Rajouri and submit him the detailed report soon.
Stressing that the road network brings vast avenues of development with it, the Minister said, “All the existing roads in Darhal should be macadamized with quality material so that the people can take the benefit of the assets developed by the State in Rajouri.”
The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer PWD (R&B), Superintending Engineer PWD (R&B), Rajouri and other officers of the department.

Frame regularization policy for agitating 10+2 lecturers: Ravinder

Jammu, February 20 : Mr. Ravinder Sharma - former MLC and- Chief Spokesperson JKPCC has lashed out at the Govt. for failing to listen to the grievances of agitating contractual lecturers in 10+2 Schools who had been working for more than 10-12 years.
Mr. Sharma visited the site of Fast unto – death and hunger strike started by these candidates near Press Club Jammu, on their invitation, and listened to their grievance. They explained to him that they were working in the 10+2 schools for 10 to 12 years but the Govt. has so far failed to come out with a policy for their regularization. They complained that so far no Govt. nominee has visited them to listen to their grievance while the condition of one of their colleague Vinod Kumar, who is on fast unto death is becoming critical.
Mr. Sharma assured to highlight their issues and asked the Govt. to immediately listen to their genuine demands and redress their grievance. He said that there is need to come out with a policy for their regularization, whose services were utilized for such a long time. He regretted that Govt. is treating the highly educated class of the society in this manner, who are getting frustrated.He also appealed to the agitating candidates not to take extreme steps and highlight their genuine grievance peacefully.

PCC CONDOLE DEMISE OF BROTHER -IN-LAW OF AZAD

Jammu, Feb 5:.Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has deeply Condoled the sad demise of Shri Ghulam Hussian Bhall , brother in law of LOP Rajya Sabha and AICC General secretary Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad.

JKPCC President Shri G A Mir and all senior leaders have expressed deep shock over the sad demise of shri Ghulam Hussian and conveyed their heart felt condolences to the family members , relatives and friends. They prayed for peace to the departed soul. JKPCC has conveyed heartfelt condolences' to Shri Azad. The burial of Shri Ghulam Hussian took place today afternoon at Jammu which was attended by large no people from all walks of life . A number of prominent persons and several senior leaders of Congress party attended the burial and visited the residence to convey condolences to the bereaved family. Shri Azad arrived here today morning and attended the burial.

Ravinder Sharma Pays Homage to Ashok Chakra Awardee

Nowshera, Feb 02: Antam Ardas to Capt. Sunder Sigh, Ashok Chakra 1 was performed at Gurdwar Nonial, today. A large number of people from all walks of life gathered there and paid tributes to the great soldier.
On the occasion, while paying tributes, Mr. Ravinder Sharma, EX-MLC (Chief Spokesperson JKPCC) said that Capt. Sunder Singh had displayed his bravery while fighting against Pak Army and was awarded Ashok Chakra Class 1 in 1956. And after his retirement he served the people as social worker throughout his life with the same dedication and devotion.
Mr. Sharma said that there was great resentment of the people of the area that despite being a great awardee he was not given due honour, as nun of the Civil administration or government representative visited the family to pay homage to the great solider. While sharing the anger of the people Mr. Sharma expressed views that we respect the great awardees to inspire the younger generations. He also second the proposal of construction of a memorial and named after him.
