🚨 SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS RAISE QUESTIONS — INQUIRY DEMANDED IN DODA🚨

Serious allegations are circulating regarding a teacher from Behota, Marmat, Doda, involving an alleged incident with a woman.

What makes the matter more concerning are claims that this is not the first such allegation, with reports on social media suggesting that similar incidents may have occurred previously.

⚠️ However, these allegations must be properly verified before any conclusion is drawn.

If the allegations are found to be true, the matter deserves strict departmental action and appropriate legal proceedings. At the same time, the dignity and privacy of all individuals involved must be respected, and no person should be declared guilty without due process.

📢 We appeal to the concerned authorities to conduct a fair, impartial and time-bound inquiry and make the facts public.

A teacher carries a position of trust, responsibility and moral example, particularly in a society where children and families look up to educators.

Truth must prevail. Accountability must follow.

Jammu Court Orders Preliminary Police Inquiry Into Complaint Against BCCI President Mithun Manhas

JAMMU, August 19: A Special Railway Magistrate’s court in Jammu has directed police to conduct a preliminary inquiry into allegations made against Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Mithun Manhas over an alleged discrepancy in his date of birth, The Tribune reported on Wednesday.

The court has directed the Station House Officer (SHO) of Police Station Nowabad, Jammu, to conduct the preliminary inquiry and submit a report before the court by September 3.

The direction came after a complaint filed by Sudershan Mehta, a former Joint Secretary of the Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA).

According to the complaint, Mehta has alleged that Manhas forged or fabricated his date of birth to gain eligibility for junior-level national cricket tournaments. The allegations relate to Manhas allegedly furnishing different dates of birth while seeking selection in sub-junior and junior-level competitions.

The complainant has further alleged that Manhas’ date of birth in his school records differs from the one listed on the official website of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA).

As cited in The Tribune report, Mehta claimed that information received from Maharaja Hari Singh Agriculture Collegiate (MHAC) School, Nagbani, records Manhas’ date of birth as December 9, 1977, while the DDCA website lists it as October 12, 1979.

The magistrate, while directing the preliminary inquiry, observed that before registration of a cognizable offence, a preliminary inquiry was required under the applicable provisions of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).

The court’s direction does not establish the allegations against Manhas as proven. The police inquiry is now expected to examine the claims and place its findings before the court by September 3.
