🚨 All Tourists Rescued Safely After Technical Snag Halts Gulmarg Gondola

In Jammu and Kashmir, all tourists stranded in cabins of the Gulmarg Gondola ropeway were rescued safely after a major technical snag disrupted operations at the famous tourist resort. Over 300 tourists, including women and children, were trapped inside 65 cabins, some suspended nearly 500 feet above the ground.

A massive seven-hour rescue operation involving NDRF, SDRF, J&K Police, Army’s Chinar Corps, and local administration ensured the safe evacuation of all passengers without any injuries.

Raghunath Temple is a Hindu temple located in Jammu in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It consists of a complex of seven Hindu shrines. Raghunath Temple was constructed by the first Dogra ruler Maharaja Gulab Singh in the year 1835 and later his son Maharaja Ranbir Singh got it completed in the year 1860 during Dogra rule.[1] The temple has many gods in its complex of shrines, but the presiding deity is Rama – also known as Raghunath, an Avatar of Vishnu.

As part of the ongoing Divya Kala Mela from 14th to 24th February, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, organized a job fair at Gulshan Ground in Jammu today.
