๐—ฆ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ฟ, ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ 05, 2026: Shri Nitish Kumar, IPS, ADGP Armed, J&K, today visited the Armed Police Complex (APC), Zewan and conducted a comprehensive inspection of the complex. He was accompanied by Shri Maqsood-ul-Zaman, IPS, DIG Armed, Kashmir Range.
1. On arrival, the ADGP Armed was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour by contingents of 9, 13-JKAP and 2 JKAP Women Battalions.
2. Shri Nitish Kumar also paid floral tributes at the Martyrsโ€™ Memorial and remembered the supreme sacrifices of Jammu and Kashmir Police martyrs in the service of the nation.
3. During the visit, Shri Nitish Kumar inspected various facilities and establishments, including the GOsโ€™ Mess, Sub Police Hospital, Kindergarten, Gym Centre, Petrol Pump, Police Departmental Stores (PDC)administrative blocks of the three battalions stationed at APC Zewan.
4. ADGP Armed also held a Joint Darbar with personnel of 9 JKAP, 13 JKAP and 2 JKAP Women BNs. He patiently listened to their issues, concerns and grievances and assured them that genuine concerns would be examined on priority for timely redressal.
5. Reiterating that the welfare and well-being of personnel and their families remain a key priority, he stressed the need for a positive, healthy and professional working environment, adequate facilities and effective welfare measures across Armed Police establishments.
6. Shri Nitish Kumar emphasized the importance of regular training, physical fitness, sports, recreational activities and preventive healthcare, urging personnel to continuously enhance their professional skills, maintain high standards of preparedness and make optimum use of available facilities.
7. He further underscored the importance of regular interaction and open communication with personnel for strengthening mutual trust, boosting morale and improving the overall functioning of the force. He called upon all officers and personnel to discharge their duties with dedication, discipline and a strong sense of responsibility in the service of the people and the nation.
โ 8. ADGP Armed also advised the jawans to stay away from drugs, avoid online gaming and other harmful habits, and maintain a healthy, disciplined and responsible lifestyle.
