पटियाला की राव को जाने वाले जनता कॉलोनी रोड पर 18.09.2024 को रात करीब 1 बजे कूड़े से भरी रेहड़ी गिराते हुए एक व्यक्ति को रात में पहरा लगा कर पकड़ा गया। ऐसे ही व्यक्तियों की वज़ह से जनता कॉलोनी में घुसने से पहले ही गंदगी मिलती थी।
ऐसे लोग जो गंदगी फैलाते हैं को बक्शा नहीं जाएगा।

करीब 58 करोड़ की लागत से हुआ सेवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट।

आज STP (सेवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट) का उद्घाटन किया जा रहा है। जिसे 10.07.2023 को नगर कौंसिल नया गांव की हाउस मीटिंग में पेश किया गया था और नया गांव के सभी पार्षदों नें सर्वसम्मति से पास किया था, जिसमें 50% की लागत राज्य सरकार (पंजाब)और 50% की लागत केंद्र सरकार द्वारा दिया जाएगा।
आज 06.09.2024 दिन शुक्रवार 11 बजे, नगर कौंसिल, नया गांव के सभी पार्षदों व मंत्री अनमोल गगन मान द्वारा STP का उद्घाटन किया जाना है जोकि एक ऐतिहासिक पल होगा।

On the occasion of Independence Day, we hoisted the flag in Ward 17 along with hundreds of people and children of the ward, like every year, this time too, on the occasion of Independence Day, children, women and youth participated in patriotic songs, dance and games and won medals and trophies, while stationery like copies, pens and chocolates were distributed to small children. The youth were given the message to stay away from drugs and participate in games.
