“Noida International airport will be completed as per the scheduled deadline of 2024 and create huge opportunities in the state thereby changing the business dynamics in this region,” Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri MYogiAdityanath said while briefing the media after the meeting.

“Since 2017, we have been working on 11 new airports to connect at least 80 cities of the state via air. Earlier, only 25 cities were connected with air connectivity through two airports. We have fast-tracked the infrastructure growth and put the state on the path of development," Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri MYogiAdityanath said during the ceremony.

“This airport's construction will be completed and it will go functional in 2024, becoming the fifth international airport of Uttar Pradesh. We already have international airports in Lucknow and Varanasi," Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri MYogiAdityanath said during the ceremony, PTI reported.

"With the construction of the Noida International Airport, it will involve an investment of around ₹34,000-35,000 crore and provide employment to over 1 lakh people. This airport will become functional in 2024. This will be the fifth international airport of Uttar Pradesh," Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri MYogiAdityanath said during the ceremony.

Spread over more than 1,300 hectares of land, the first phase of the airport is scheduled to be completed by 2024 and will have the capacity to serve around 1.2 crore passengers a year.

Jewar Airport: Located at a distance of about 72 km from the IGI airport in New Delhi, the new airport will be India’s largest after its completion, according to officials. The first phase of the development of the airport is being done at a cost of over Rs 10,050 crore.
