The 18th Haryana State Thang-Ta Championship 2026–27, organized by the Thang-Ta Association, Haryana, concluded successfully after two days of exciting Phunaba and Khonglon Chatpa competitions at the Sat Jinda Kalyana Ashram, Near New Bus Stand, Kalanaur, Rohtak, Haryana.
The closing and medal distribution event graced by the esteemed guest:-
• Smt. Renu Dabla Ji – Vice-Chairman, Haryana Scheduled Castes Commission; Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Haryana.
• Dr. Ashish Goyal – Director, Oxygen Hospital, Rohtak.
• Mr. Ashok Balhara – Oxygen Hospital, Rohtak.
• Smt. Diljinder Kaur – Advocate (M.A., LL.B., LL.M.); Formerly Selected Member, Punjab & Haryana Bar Council; BJP, Rohtak, Haryana.
• Shri Pratul Anand (Kalu Anand) – Vice-Chairman Representative, Municipal Committee, Kalanaur.
• Shri Madan Lal Bagri – General Secretary & Chief Instructor, Thang-Ta Association, Haryana.
• Shri Sunil Kumar Bagri – Former Chairman, Municipal Committee, Kalanaur.
Around 200 athletes from districts across Haryana participated in the championship, displaying remarkable skill, discipline, and sportsmanship. The event also served as the key selection platform for the ###II National Thang-Ta Championship 2026, providing talented athletes an opportunity to represent Haryana at the national level.
The Thang-Ta Association, Haryana extends its heartfelt congratulations to all athletes, coaches, technical officials, volunteers, and district associations for their outstanding support and contribution in making the championship a grand success.
