The Applicant must be a Bonafide Himachali.
The age of the Applicant must be between 23-45 years.
The Applicant must be Un-employed. He/she must have an Unemployment Certificate duly signed by the competent authority.
The annual income of the family should not exceed 3 lakh per annum.*
The Applicant must be registered in Employment Exchange in Himachal Pradesh for last one year at least. He must possess with a valid X-10 card.
The Applicant must have a valid Commercial Driving License.
This scheme can only be availed by one person in a family.
In cases, where educational qualification of the applicant is 10th pass from any recognized Board of School Education/Institution, he should have an experience of 7 years to drive the vehicle.
Or

If the candidate is not 10th pass then he should have an experience of 10 years to drive the vehicle.

The selected candidates/applicants will sign an agreement with the Government Department/Local Authority/Autonomous Body/Board/Corporation/Government Undertaking or other establishment, as the case may be, with which his/her e-taxi will be attached on the terms & conditions as approved by the Government.

Annual income will be computed on the basis of the income certificate issued by the Competent Revenue Authority.
