The theme for World Book Day 2025 is "Read Your Way". This theme encourages children to explore reading in a way that's most engaging and enjoyable for them, whether it's reading aloud, acting out a story, or creating their own reading experiences.

When Bhimabai and her daughter launched 'Ajjichya Pustakancha Hotel,' the taunts and harsh words from people around her were relentless.

“People would comment that a woman should stay home instead of wandering around selling tea. But I didn’t care about what they said.

Gradually, I used my savings to expand the eatery. I noticed that whenever people waited for their food, they would be glued to their phones, scrolling endlessly instead of talking to each other. I wanted to change this,” she explains.

As someone who loved reading but never had the opportunity to indulge in it, Bhimabai decided to reintroduce reading to others.

“We started with just 25 books on a stand, encouraging people to pick one up and read while we prepared their meal,” she shares.

People began to appreciate her effort, and word quickly spread. That small collection of 25 books has now grown to an impressive 5,000!

“When I see young children come here and read, I feel like I’ve truly achieved something,”

Gncew Kpt commenced the new academic session 2024-2026 on 14 September, 2024. On this occasion, the entire staff and students gathered to seek the blessings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Bhai Sucha Singhji grace the occasion by reciting the bani of Sukhmani Sahibji. The Kirtani Jatha of Bhai Narain Singh Ji sang Dhur Ki Bani which delighted the audience. All the staff and students offered prayers before Guru Granth Sahib for the prosperity and progress of the college and students.
The Head of the institution Mrs. Manjeet Kaur concluded by saying that we rejoice in the love of Waheguruji and may this institution achieve heights.

Guidance and Counseling Cell organized a two-day Orientation Programme on 09 & 10 September, 2024 for B.Ed. (Session 2024-26). The major objective of the programme was to make the students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the institute, its faculties and familiarize the campus environment and infrastructure. Students were addressed by Principal Mrs. manjit Kaur, who welcomed the students and gave them an introduction regarding the academic disciplines.

We all need to clarify to the students that this is incomplete information.
Present two year B.Ed. will remain same but two more courses B.Ed. one year and B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed./B.Com.B.Ed. four year course will be added.

Students need to note that:
1. Those who pass three years of Graduation will have the option of a two year B.Ed. course.
2. Those who pass four year Graduation will have the option of one year B.Ed.
3. Those who want to go for B.A.B.Ed. or B.Sc.B.Ed. or B.Com.B.Ed. have taken admission after 12th in four year course.
