Important Meeting Held to Ensure Smooth Conduct of Assam Direct Recruitment Examination 2024

| A crucial meeting was held by the District Administration at the District Commissioner's Office Conference Hall to coordinate arrangements for the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination 2024 on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.The meeting was chaired by Smti Nirola Phangchopi, ACS, District Commissioner, and attended by Sri Sanjib Kumar Saikia, APS, Suprintendent of Police, Additional District Commissioners. Key district officials, including the Magistrate, Inspector of Schools, Railway Station Masters of Diphu and Bokajan, and representatives from the Bazaar Committees, along with members of the Bus and Autorickshaw Associations, were present.

The meeting's main focus was ensuring smooth transportation and other essential facilities for candidates arriving from outside the Karbi Anglong district for the recruitment exam, which will be held on September 15th, 29th, and October 27th, 2024, at various centers across the district.

The District Commissioner emphasized the need for full cooperation from all transport and hospitality service providers, including buses, autorickshaws, hotels, and markets, to remain operational to accommodate candidates. She underscored that the collective effort of all stakeholders is vital for the successful and smooth conduct of the exams.

The Superintendent of Police also addressed the assembly, highlighting the importance of maintaining law and order during the examination period. He urged all parties to prevent any incidents that might disrupt the examination. To ensure public order, the district administration has imposed Section 163 BNSS, 223 BNS, and Section 10(1) as precautionary measures.

The District Administration calls for complete cooperation from all stakeholders to guarantee a peaceful and smooth examination process for all candidates.

Team Greater Manja bazar committee with Honble MAC Smt.Tiluttoma Hasnu Dhansiri constituency,Manja town committee Chairman Gautam Hanse and his ward commissioners ,ADC,Magistrate inspected the flash flood-affected and waterlogged areas at Manja forest colony and some other areas today. The town has been grappling with severe artificial flooding and waterlogging in nearly all localities due to heavy sustained rainfall over the past few days.
In this crisis an emergency steps being taken to flush out water from waterlogged areas.Special Thanks to District commissioner East Karbi Anglong district Madam Nirola Phangchopi for her continuous support in this difficult time.
