On the occasion of , a voluntary blood donation camp was successfully organized through the joint initiative of the Indian Red Cross Society, Sribhumi District Branch, and the Blood Bank of Sribhumi Civil Hospital. Prominent citizens of Sribhumi and people from different sections of society actively participated in the programme and voluntarily donated blood, setting a remarkable example of humanitarian service.

The primary objective of this initiative was to raise awareness about the importance of regular donation and to encourage greater community participation in this noble and life-saving cause. The selfless contribution of the blood donors will play a vital role in saving countless lives and further strengthen the values of humanity, compassion, and social responsibility.

A day-long observance of World Red Cross Day was organized by the Junior Red Cross (JRC) unit of Saraswati Vidyaniketan. The event commenced with the hoisting of the Red Cross flag, with our former Secretary, Sri Nikhil Ranjan Das, attending as the Chief Guest.

As part of the day's activities, a fruit distribution drive was conducted at IMS Hospital, Red Cross Hospital, and Bela Bhumi (an old-age home). The day concluded with an engaging quiz competition held among the students.
