In order to celebrate the WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY, today multiple events were carried out in the morning assembly.
The United Nations General Assembly founded World Environment Day in 1972 to increase public awareness of environmental challenges and encourage action. It has since grown to be the largest global venue for environmental advocacy and is observed every year on June 5 .
Theme for the World Environment Day 2023 is under the campaign Plastic Pollution, 'Ecosystem Restoration'.
This morning assembly was organised by ECO HOUSE under the guidance of Principal Sh Tara Chand Sharma ji.
