PDP President Mehbooba M***i has expressed deep anguish and concern over the severe impact that landslide-induced disruptions on NH-44 are having on Kashmir’s sector.
She said every day of delay in transporting fresh produce puts the hard work of our fruit growers at risk and threatens the livelihoods of lakhs of families. Mehbooba M***i urged the administration to ensure the swift movement of horticultural consignments on priority and explore every safe alternative, including permitting suitable heavy commercial vehicles on the Mughal Road, to minimise losses during the peak harvest season.
