ਕੌਮੀ ਇਨਸਾਫ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ 21 ਅਗਸਤ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬੰਦ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ - ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪੁਨਰ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ।
ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ-: 19 ਅਗਸਤ () ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪੁਨਰ-ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਦੇ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਜਨਰਲ ਸ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਡਾਲਾ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਮੀਤ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ ਸੁੱਚਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਛੋਟੇਪੁਰ, ਸ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਦੂਮਾਜਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਥ ਵਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ 21 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਕੌਮੀ ਇਨਸਾਫ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬੰਦ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਬੰਦੀ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਲਈ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਰਹੱਦ 'ਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਇਨਸਾਫ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਬੰਦ ਦੀ ਕਾਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਲ ਬੰਦੀ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਅਤੇ 15 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਮਈ ਮਾਰਚ ਉਤੇ ਤਸ਼ੱਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਚੇ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਨਕਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਤਸ਼ੱਦਦ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਚਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਦਬਾਅ ਵੀ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਇਨਸਾਫ ਪਸੰਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਧੱਕੇਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋੜ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ 21 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਬੰਦ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਡੀ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਕਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਬੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਸਫਲ ਬਣਾਉਣਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਜਾ ਭੁਗਤਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਜੇਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਦਬਾਅ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਬਿਆਨ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਨੂੰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
National Insaaf Morcha’s Punjab Bandh on August 21 Fully Supported – Shiromani Akali Dal Punar-Surjit
Chandigarh, August 19: In a joint press statement, Shiromani Akali Dal Punar-Surjit General Secretary S. Gurpratap Singh Wadala, Senior Vice President S. Sucha Singh Chhotepur, S. Prem Singh Chandumajra, and Youth Wing President S. Gurjit Singh Talwandi said that their organization fully supports the Punjab Bandh called by the Qaumi Insaaf Morcha on August 21.
The Qaumi Insaaf Morcha, which has been carrying out a protest at the Chandigarh border demanding the release of Bandi Singhs, has given the call for the bandh. The call has been made to demand the release of Bandi Singhs and to protest against the use of force during the peaceful march organized by the Morcha on August 15, as well as the registration of cases against its leaders.
The leaders said that the government is not only refusing to release the Bandi Singhs but is also attempting to suppress the voices of those demanding their release through force and the registration of cases.
Therefore, they appealed to justice-loving people across Punjab to cooperate in observing a complete bandh on August 21 in order to strongly oppose what they described as government high-handedness.
They said that leaders and workers of their organization would join hands with the people to make the bandh successful and build pressure on the governments to secure the release of the Singhs who, despite having completed their sentences, have remained imprisoned for decades.
