*Kishtwar Schools Shine at 53rd RSBVP 2025-26; Seven Projects Selected for National-Level Competition*
*DIET Kishtwar played a pivotal role in mentoring, coordinating, and promoting scientific and innovative activities among students across the district.*
*Kishtwar, May 30:* District Kishtwar has achieved a remarkable milestone in the field of school education, science, and innovation, with seven exhibits/projects from various schools qualifying for the UT-Level Competition under the *53rd Rashtriya School-Based Vigyan Pradarshani (RSBVP) 2025-26* and subsequently securing selection for the *National-Level Competition.*
Among the distinguished achievers, *High School Sigdi Bhata* registered an outstanding performance with two projects securing selection for the *National Level* under the sub-themes ‘Sustainable Agriculture and Recreational Mathematical Modeling’. The projects were appreciated for their innovative approach and relevance to contemporary societal challenges.
*Government Higher Secondary School Boys Kishtwar* emerged as the district’s leading contributor with three projects selected for the *National Level* under the sub-themes Green Energy, Waste Management, and Emerging Technologies. These exhibits demonstrated exceptional scientific creativity and practical solutions to pressing environmental and technological concerns.
Adding to the district’s success, *GHSS Girls Kishtwar* secured selection for the *National Level* under the sub-theme Water Conservation and Management, highlighting the importance of sustainable utilization and preservation of water resources.
Similarly, *High School Tagood,* a far-flung educational institution in Zone Kishtwar, brought laurels to the district with its project under the ‘sub-theme Health and Hygiene,’ which also earned a place at the *National Level*.
The achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and scientific temperament of the students, along with the invaluable guidance of their teachers and the support of their respective school administrations. It also underscores the growing emphasis on STEM education, innovation, and problem-solving skills among students across the district.
It is pertinent to mention that a large number of *High Schools and Higher Secondary Schools* from across District Kishtwar actively participated in the zonal and district-level competitions, showcasing hundreds of innovative and scientific exhibits on diverse themes. The enthusiastic participation of students from remote as well as urban areas reflected the growing scientific awareness and innovative spirit among young learners throughout the district.
Prior to the district-level event, *Shri Vinod Kumar, Principal GHSS Chatroo, and Shri Ashok Kumar, Principal GHSS Boys Kishtwar,* successfully conducted zonal-level competitions for multiple educational zones, providing a vibrant platform for students to demonstrate their creativity, scientific aptitude, and problem-solving abilities.
The successful conduct of the *53rd RSBVP 2025-26* also witnessed valuable contributions from *Smt. Radha Rani, Principal GHSS Girls Kishtwar; Principal HSS Padder; Principal GHSS Nagseni; Principal GHSS Dool; Principal HSS Keshwan; and Principal HSS Badhat*, who played significant roles in facilitating and promoting scientific activities among students.
*Riaz Ahmad Giri, District Nodal Officer (DNO) and Senior Academic Officer, DIET Kishtwar,* efficiently coordinated and managed the competitions at all levels with dedication, commitment, and sincerity, ensuring their smooth and successful conduct.
*Tirath Lal, Principal DIET Kishtwar,* under whose leadership all events were organized, congratulated the selected students, guide teachers, es**rt teachers, Heads of Institutions, Principals, Zonal Nodal Officers (ZNOs), and all stakeholders associated with this achievement. He expressed confidence that the selected projects would perform exceptionally at the National Level and continue to bring laurels to District Kishtwar and Jammu & Kashmir.
A special note of gratitude was extended to *Dr. Sindu Kapoor, Joint Director SCERT Jammu and Joint Director Central, SCERT J&K,* for her constant guidance, encouragement, and support throughout the programme.
