Homage to Late Praphulla Kumar who left for heavenly abode this day last yr 26 Sep 11

The Praphulla Kumar Started his career at M/S G S Jain Associate as Asstt Manager in 1979 and rose to position of General Manager excelling in his career of pile foundation and soil testing and taking the firm to an great height in South India gaining the excellent reputation and trusted firm in the field. He left the firm late1996.

Formed the firm Geo Foundation & Structural Pvt Ltd and had been its Founder Chairman & Managing Director till his sad and untimely demise at an early age of 56. He has been instrumental and pioneer in making the firm a reputed, trusted, reliable firm in South India basically in the field of pile foundation, soil testing and construction activity.
He was founder Secretary and past President of Association of Piling Specialist.

He has been associated with the many professional bodies in different capacity viz Indian Roads Congress, Builders Association of India, Indian Geotechnical Society .
Kerala State Chairman of the Builders Association of India ( 2009-10 ), organising Secretary 22nd All India Builders convention 2006 at Kochi.

He has been founder Vice Chairman Geotechnical Society Kerala chapter and also Vice Chairman of Golden jubilee Indian Geotechnical Conference 2011. He has immensely contributed to the training, education and practice of geotechnical engineering inthe country.

He has been associated with Lions Club till his sad demise. He had been Asst Joint Secretary and Joint Secretary. He has contribute a lot towards social cause in around Kochi.

He has done yeomen services in professional and social field. His soul rest in peace.
