ILEAL CONDUIT
An ileal conduit is a surgical procedure, where a small urine reservoir is created from a segment of a bowel and is placed just under the abdominal wall. The end of the ileum is brought out through an opening in the abdominal wall to drain the urine gathered in the reservoir. This opening is called a stoma.
