There's something special about learning beyond the four walls of a classroom. 🌿📖
Our Class 8 students recently spent a memorable day at the beautiful Kodaikanal Lake, bringing William Butler Yeats' timeless poem, The Lake Isle of Innisfree, to life. Guided by our English teacher, Mr. Gautham, the students experienced the poem in the very heart of nature.
Surrounded by the gentle breeze, shimmering waters, and peaceful scenery, they sketched, painted, reflected, and even wrote their own poems inspired by the beauty around them. It was a day where literature met nature, and creativity flowed freely.
At Kodaikanal Public School, we believe that the finest lessons are often found beneath open skies. By taking learning into nature, we encourage our students to observe deeply, imagine freely, and create fearlessly—because education is not just about acquiring knowledge, but about experiencing it.
Perhaps, like Yeats, they too carried home "a little peace" from the lakeside that day. đź’š
