About EFG Organization:

As we being Human beings, we are the only creature in this world that can protect the Mother Nature i.e. The idea of launching this transformation is to protect and preserve our environment from every aspect. In Academic institution it offers courses, such as environmental studies, environmental management and environmental engineering that teach the history and methods of environment protection, which clearly shows that protection of the environment is much needed, if we are to live a clean and healthy life in this world. As we are all aware that due to various human activities, pollution of different natures such are created and as such waste pollution, air pollution, water pollution and loss of biodiversity (resulting imbalance) are some of the issues related to environmental pollution. Environmental protections are influenced by three factors, such as:
• Environmental Legislation,
• Code of Ethics and
• Education. Each of these above mentioned factors play a very vital part in influencing both national, state, district and village-level environmental decisions and even personal-level environmental values and behaviours. For environmental protection to become a reality, it is very important that societies should develop and adopt each of these areas due to the reason that together it inform and drive environmental decisions. Whatsoever, it is high time that we should venture into this factors and preserve our environment. As such we sanguinely believe that initiating this Noble venture would benefit the individual as well as the society and it would be a boon for the human being. To sum up, if we all have this awareness concept, the world would enjoy the beauty of nature, which is the goal of EARTH FRIENDLY GENERATION (EFG). Thus, as a body with a key-focus working on environmental protection came into being. About Founders:-
During the course of years, we have come to realize the importance of our Mother Earth as the most beautiful and precious gift for human kind. It becomes our duty to protect our nature. However, the degradation of our green environment have caused ecological imbalance due to our negligence and the ignorance towards the ecology. Environmental protection is a practice of protecting the natural environment by individual, organizations and government organizations for the benefit of both the natural environment and the human being. But due to the increasing number of population and advancement in technology, the biophysical environments are being degraded at times permanently. Though, it has been recognized and some governmental organizations have begun placing restraints on activities that causes environmental degradation. However, no fruitful results can be seen till date. Since decades, activity of environmental movements has created awareness on various environmental issues but there is no agreement on the extent of the environmental impact of human activity and protective measures are occasionally criticized. Hence, Earth Friendly Generation on 15th October, 2015 was founded by Mr. Keduolhoukho Chadi. HOME/SRC-6994. Aims and Objectives of the Organization:-

Our Story

Vision: “TO STRENGTHEN AND PRESERVE THE IMPORTANCE OF OUR MOTHER NATURE”. Mission: “TO EMPHASIZE CONTINOUS ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION BY WORKING TOGETHER WITH PEOPLE AND CREATE A CLEAN, SAFE PLACE TO LIVE FOR OUR FUTURE GENERATION”. About EFG Organization:

Let me briefly highlight a short history of Earth Friendly Generation EFG.

It was early morning on 15th Oct 2015, when I along with my Dad had gone to meet some of our leaders in our village seeking for loan to get me admission at North East Institute of Social Science and Research (NEISSR), Nagaland, India for my Master Degree (Master of Social Work). We did not get loan as we were from economically weak background. I was remained frustrated and do not have any idea how to go about or whom should I approach to get financial assistanceto do my studies. Later in the afternoon something had struck in my mind where I thought of starting up an Trust/Organization which can help me and my community even though I could not go ahead withmy higher studies. Late at night, I rang up to Rev. Fr. Matthew Keemattam, asked him whether I can meet him at his residence, to which he welcomed me willingly. I went and met him, share all my problems. I also mentioned my desire about starting a trust/organization to help my community people. Then he insisted me to go for my higher studies, promised to bear my admission expenses and also encourage me follow my vision. He also advised me to meet Rev. Fr. Vemedo Joseph Kezo who became my mentor and a friend, supporting me to start EFG from day one till today. That very night when I was with Rev. Fr. Vemedo Joseph Kezo, I also shared with him my desire about starting a trust/organization. Though the concept and the ideas were very sketchy, he advised me against starting a trust. However, he told me to start an organization through which I can work for environmental conservation in Nagaland. He has been a guide, a mentor and a friend from day one i.e. from 15th Oct 2015 in making EFG history which marked in “Golden Letter”.

It was all because of Rev. Fr. Matthew Keemattam, Rev. Fr. Vemedo Joseph Kezo, and not forgetting Rev. Dr. Fr. Anto Paul, I could enter into North East Institute of Social Science and Research (NEISSR) Dimapur, Nagaland where I completed my Master of Social Work (MSW).
