Awareness Programme on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

Earlier this year, a sensitization programme on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities was conducted by Mrs. Watisenla, PO ( IDEAL CHARITABLE SOCIETY) Although the update comes later, the impact and message of the session remain significant and worth sharing.

The programme focused on the key aspects of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, covering topics such as the rights of persons with disabilities (PwDs), accessibility, the challenges they face, and the importance of building an inclusive and supportive environment.

A powerful reminder: that every individual with a disability deserves not only equal rights but also love, care, and understanding. The programme encouraged the children and staff to embrace compassion and actively contribute to a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and included.

We are all called to build a community where everyone is valued and no one is left behind.

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY AT BMSCH

The children at the Home marked World Environment Day with hands-on activities — planting saplings, joining a cleanliness drive, creating thoughtful posters, and watching a documentary on recycling and environmental care. A day of learning, action, and inspiration for a greener future.

Orientation on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene ( WASH)

An Employee Appreciation Day was organized on the 8th of November 2023 at BMSCH Multi-purpose Hall, Kohima.
A day to recognize their hard work and show appreciation for their efforts.

Speaking on the occasion,
Ms. Alenuo Angami, Superintendent, BMSCH, said we need to appreciate each other regardless of our position as each employee has potential in different areas. She further said that the idea behind such an event is to show they're valued, respected, and to motivate them to do better in life. Humans need to be noticed & recognized for their hard work, she added.
Presentation, children's performances, and special dinner were the highlights of the program.

It was an honour to perform at the 150 years of Christianity at Nagaland Baptist Church Council ( NBCC) Covention Centre in the state capital Kohima

~ Our story ~ 2021 & 2022 wasn't the most pleasant year for BMS Fam , it sure was an emotional roller coaster ride but God never leave us during any of them. We're thankful for his goodness and blessings over us, without which we wouldn't have made this far. He brings hope even through the toughest of times and strengthen us for his purposes.
We're also thankful to everyone for your unceasing love & support towards our NGO.

Bms children under the leadership of dedicated administrators & staff has gone places and sang in many prestigious events and the fact that none of the members are trained musicians in itself is a testimony that with God all things are possible.
Grateful for all the opportunities!
